Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several television shows. She was raised in Northern Virginia and is the middle daughter from two siblings. Her family raised her with sisters who resided and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri's production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For the performance, she won in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. Her television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include a role as a support for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine. In 2009 Ghanizada was Kelly as a Prada saleswoman in HBO's Entourage and was a part of the crew of the TV pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
